100 Inspiring Agrifood entrepreneurs stories
Launched in 2020 by PAFO and COLEAD, the Innovation Series showcases successful African farmer-led businesses and transformative innovations across agrifood value chains. Over 25 sessions, the initiative has featured 97 entrepreneurs and 57 experts, attracting more than 19,000 registrations and fostering dialogue among key agrifood stakeholders. To further strengthen impact and networking, the Agrinnovators platform was created as a dedicated hub for entrepreneurs.
In December 2025, a third satisfaction survey was conducted to assess participant satisfaction, perceived value, reach, and engagement dynamics. The online survey, available in English and French, was sent to 19,740 registered contacts, with 183 respondents completing it. The findings aim to inform continuous improvement and guide the strategic evolution of the Innovation Series.
Overall, the results indicate strong satisfaction with the relevance of topics and quality of speakers, with many participants reporting concrete impact on their professional practices, including improved business strategies, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of new initiatives. However, engagement beyond the live sessions particularly with Agrinnovators remains limited, and some respondents highlighted contextual constraints that may affect the translation of learning into tangible outcomes.
