- Purpose of the Community
Agrinnovators is a dynamic, multi-partner knowledge-sharing platform dedicated to spotlighting innovation and entrepreneurship in the global agrifood sector. Through peer learning, mentoring, and real-world entrepreneurial stories, Agrinnovators fosters a collaborative environment that informs, inspires, and empowers the next generation of agricultural changemakers.
These Community Guidelines ensure that everyone can learn, share, and collaborate in a safe and respectful environment.

Members of Agrinnovators agree to:
Be kind and respectful
- Use welcoming and inclusive language.
- Assume good intentions; seek to understand before reacting.
- Give constructive feedback and avoid personal criticism.
Engage meaningfully
- Share relevant insights, tools, resources, and experiences.
- Keep discussions focused on forum topics.
- Add value to community threads rather than posting for visibility only.
Communicate professionally
- Write clearly and avoid offensive or aggressive tone.
- Acknowledge cultural and linguistic diversity across regions (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific, and beyond).
Share responsibly
- Cite sources, authors, and organisations.
- Flag content that may be sensitive, incomplete.
- Declare conflicts of interest when promoting products or services.
Protect confidentiality
- Respect the rules associated with resources coming from partner institutions (PAFO, IICA, OECD, UN Women, etc.).
- Unacceptable Behavior
To keep our community safe, the following are not tolerated:
Harassment or Abuse
- Insults, threats, intimidation, bullying
- Sexist, racist, xenophobic, homophobic or degrading comments
- Targeted harassment of individuals or groups
Disruptive or Harmful Content
- Misinformation, unverified facts, or misleading claims
- Off-topic, irrelevant, or repetitive posts
- Violent, pornographic, or inappropriate content
Unethical or Illegal Activity
- Sharing copyrighted material without authorisation
- Fraud, impersonation, or identity misuse
- Promoting unsafe agricultural practices
Spam or Aggressive Promotion
- Repeated posting of commercial ads
- Unsolicited marketing messages
- Promoting services without transparency
- Data Protection and Privacy
- Respect GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
- Do not publish email addresses, phone numbers or personal information without explicit consent.
- Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
- Only share content you own or have permission to share.
- Always credit original creators, organisations, studies, photos, and tools.
- Do not upload proprietary documents (reports, guidelines, internal materials) without permission.
- Moderation and Enforcement
To ensure the safety and quality of discussions:
Agrinnovators moderators may:
- Edit, move, or remove content that violates the Code
- Issue warnings or reminders
- Temporarily suspend or permanently remove accounts in cases of serious or repeated violations
- Close threads that become harmful or unproductive
Moderation decisions aim to be fair, transparent, and educational.
